Unwell

I knew at night that I had to cancel the doctor's appointment. When I called the doctor's office, I was already so sick that I pressed the security button and called my friend. I sat in the bathroom in pain and close to faint.
My trusted friend came soon even though she has her own sister to care for after her large operation. But she came and I could get up. The nurse answering the call from the security button comes from Turku, but he came. The doctor, oncologist called at two pm as agreed. I had already seen the blood readings in the database that is available to us patients and we had a good conversation. It was a young man for a change, and I must admit that a male voice feels good when speaking of illness. : )
