Semi-final Action

The summer volleyball season must be winding down judging by the number of playoff matches at the Unidad Deportiva. Tonight's action was in the Golden Division, women aged 40-49. Not near as crowded as the Open Division matches a couple of weeks ago, so I could get in position to capture some of the playing action. Most teams try to find one, or better still two, big middle hitters and then set them every ball they can. The team in fuchsia eventually prevailed in three sets over the team in blue and will play yet another team sponsored by Margaritas restaurant in next week's finals.
