Mac

Our friends Tony & Rosie are dog sitting their son’s retriever cross, Mac, while he and his family are on holiday so, as they had tickets for a matinee comedy show in Bristol, we walked over to their house this afternoon to let Mac out in the garden and feed her.

As you might tell from her expression, she was mightily unimpressed and suspicious about us coming into the house and point blank refused to go anywhere near the garden, although she did perk up when we put her dinner down and gobbled it up before returning to her refuge on the settee.

Her coat is actually jet black but the auto setting on the camera couldn’t seem to cope with her sitting on a background of black leather!

Earlier Kate and Sophie joined Tess, Chris and I for a swim, followed by brunch at our local Lounge bar.
