Spotted

Cathy met up with some old work colleagues for lunch and I gallantly (!) agreed to drop her off and collect her afterwards.  After my own lunch I popped out into the back garden vaguely thinking of finding something to photograph.  I'd just taken this shot and decided that I needed to pop back into the house for something to diffuse the sun's glare when Cathy rang to be collected. 

If you look, you can see the lens of the camera reflected in the back of the insect.  Not something I'd normally want!

Somehow I never did get back out to look for a better shot, partly because I had an appointment at Southmead Hospital for my half yearly kidney check up.  So the ladybird in contrasty light is what has made it to the top of the list for today's blip ... it being the only photo that I took  :-)
