Mono Monday: "What's up, Buttercup?"

NOT the shot I'd planned to take today! The Mono Monday theme is "Glass", so I'd been thinking of how to work that into the shot somewhere  / in some way.

Inspiration hadn't struck, though, by late this morning, when I found H at his usual spot on the stairs, lazily watching this deer snacking on the buttercups in the garden. (No barking, nothing!) I'm claiming it as a Mono Monday "Glass" entry because getting a  decent shot through that window isn't easy - most of the panes are probably ~150 years old, and if you look pretty much anywhere except her face you'll see how they distort. (Though of course I couldn't resist a colour pop on the buttercups! :)
