Blue sky, blue water
and a summer day coming
on for our city

I arrived in McArthur Island Park at 6:30. I slept in and the morning got ahead of me.

The slough around the island is full now with a glassy finish producing excellent reflections. 

I found several Canada geese families along the pathways and the usual marmots near the river bank. 

A buck was working his way through the greenery inside the mini golf course. I'd like to know what it was that seemed so delicious to him. 

My mountains across the playing fields were indigo against the bright sky. 

I have an appointment this morning. Other than that, I will be into the paperwork.
