On This Day

Feeding the next generation

I've seen so many wee birds today. Wren, chiffchaff, tree creeper, baby robin, song thrush, blackbird, sparrow, martin and so on. All delightful but the busy bluetit is the blip because I had the pleasure of watching it diving in and out of the nesting box with tasty grubs in its beak. Presumably to feed some chicks.

The weather is like an autumn day. Chilly, damp, breezy. I think things are going to improve tomorrow and I really hope so. Our visitors have gone to Glasgow to visit the police museum. They'll have a lunchtime rendezvous with our sons. It's so good to have them here. We're feeding the next generation(s) too :-)

My yoga teacher has a bug so she has cancelled tonight's class. I don't mind  as I have a bit of a cold and staying at home is really quite appealing.
