Water everywhere!

We had so much rain last night! Our rain gauge goes to 5 inches and we had 5.5 in the gauge minimum! A neighbor had 7.5 in her larger gauge! That was all within less than 6 hours! Crazy!! Our house is not in a flood zone but the back field looks like a lake! All 3 roads to town had water over them. Luckily one was just a few inches so we made it to church. It turned out to be a beautiful day. There is some standing water in the garden but I think it’s ok. The tomatoes, corn, okra, and blueberries appreciated the drink.
This guy was crossing the road looking for high ground. Harmless gray rat snake.
