Good crop

This morning I was up early to pick the rhubarb. It should allow a second flush over the summer.

This year the stalks are very large: must be something to do with the weather as I don’t do anything else with it.

While I like rhubarb, as a family we don’t eat much so I took the crop to church for people to take away after coffee.

The afternoon was spent tidying up the garden and planting tubs and baskets - before the rain came.
