Attingham with Penny, Chris and Dad

After my Auntie Julia's funeral on Thursday, my Auntie Penny came to visit Shrewsbury with us for a few days, staying with Dad. 
Yesterday, we walked around the town centre, showing her the independent shops, the indoor market, the farmers' market, the Quarry and the Dingle.  We went out for tea at The Yockleton Arms and had an absolutely delicious meal (Oreo cheesecake scored 10/10 from us all).
Today, Dad and Penny did a river walk in the morning while we went to the gym and this afternoon, we all visited Attingham Park. I've visited probably hundreds of times over the years but actually found a new walk today.
This evening was my leaving do as I've left teaching after nearly 15 years. My friend Ali hosted a lovely get-together for me at her beautiful home.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't brilliant so we had to stay indoors but the company was lovely.
