Working Horse
Apologies ( not really) for another Clydesdale blip but today I visited the local Vintage tractor rally that always follows 2 weeks after the Fife Show at the same venue.
As always one of my old pals from farming days brought a pair of his Clydesdales this time with an old cart to fit the harvest theme. For several years now his granddaughter is leading the horse and she also rides the Clydesdales too at events.
The first extra is in because it is a Massey Ferguson 65 ibeing driven by another friend this time from our previous accordion band but also because when I was a young lad my dad bought one of these. The tractor man kept it In beautiful condition and would never let me drive it and I was left with its little brother the Ferguson 35 or the even older grey Fergie.
The 2nd extra shows some of the fine selection of vintage cars that also paraded round the ring. It amuses me that like the tractors they are called vintage when in fact most of them were around when I was a teenager. I guess I am now vintage too !
