In spite of our best efforts to prevent this sort of thing, a robin has managed to build a nest, albeit a rather tumbledown one, on one of our balcony supports. On the one hand it's sheltered and there's a baffle in place to prevent little forest creatures from climbing up. On the other, there's not a lot of room, and it does look rather precarious. The more I look at it, the harder it is to imagine four fat little nestlngs crammed in there.

Robins do put nests in odd places sometimes.
