Today's observations

I shortened a pair of shorts after breakfast.
Drove down to CK. Sunday morning routine - shower, breakfast, left the washing machine running a cycle while I walked Indie. The lone buckthorn tree on the heath was buzzing with insects. Plenty of fruits forming on the brambles. The oak gall, & sycamore gall mite caught my eye on the roadside as I walked back into the village.
A quick coffee while I pegged the washing out, then I spent an hour gardening. Deadheading, bindweed eradication.. Blimmin stuff!! Spotted butterfly eggs on the underside of a leaf. Cooked Mum's lunch, drove back to Chudleigh to taxi hubby to the pub. Back down to CK, picked in the washing, gave Mum her pudding - strawberries with clotted cream. :-) We did the washing up.
Back to Chudleigh, picked hubby up from the pub, then back home. Coffee & crossword, then a few more chores. Made dinner.
Watched Countryfile, really interesting episode this evening. Football on tv.... I cleaned the oven.
