My Girl

I don't know if you can see it, but on her neck not too far below her nose there's a faint circle of lighter hair. It's the cowlick thing that I use to identify her for certain (particularly when I see her somewhere other than right in front of the house with her two adolescent boys). I guess it'll be a while before this year's fawn comes with her regularly - I'm very glad I was treated to the sight of it the other day! This morning her boys came with the other pregnant doe and her own fawn from last season. She's still pregnant. My girl wasn't with them at breakfast - she must have been with the baby.
