In recovery

Around 6.00 pm  this juvenile great tit flew into the conservatory door with an enormous thump and fell onto the outside mat.  The dogs went wild but eventually I managed to pick it up and put it in the top of a little wall.

Half an hour later it had recovered enough to fly off with, do doubt, a sore head but hopefully no more permanent damage.
