Wild Flower Belt

Out for a wander. I like the way a stretch of land at the edge of the field has been left. It was noticeable that the bees were enjoying the wildflowers ( see extra). Because of the shade from the trees the crops don’t thrive along this edge so the overall crop yield won’t suffer too much.

We have youngest son Thomas at home for the weekend. A lovely distraction to what is going on. I asked him if he could sort through some of his things he has left at home. A lot will be donated to charity but smiled when he found some Pokémon cards he and his brothers had collected. He got distracted and quite excited by some of the prices some of the cards which were first editions could bring. Good job I didn’t get rid of them!
