A very mixed bag of weather today.  Walked Tess early to avoid the rain.  Got a bit wet walking back to the car.  As usual along the marsh Tess had lots of playtime with her friends.  Lots of gardening this afternoon in-between showers.  Used the strimmer for the first time this season.  Forgot how heavy it is!  At least all three green bins are full and will be emptied in the morning.  Then I should have time to be able to actually plant the shrubs I bought last week one of which is my blip, a Peony - Bowl of Beauty.  I already have quite an old one of this variety which sadly hasn't produced any flowers at all this year and has hardly grown.
