As Red As Cherries Get

That means green.  
There are a few fruiting Cherry trees in the little park near us, but you never see red ripe cherries. A hint of pink is the best we get before the birds wolf them down. If only the birds would wait a while longer then they would be tastier and easier for them to eat. And we might get a few too.
