Sunday: View from Upstairs …

… just as the first drops of rain started falling … :-(

A chilly morning which was overcast with the threat of rain until late afternoon …

MrD continued with his fence repairs in the far corner of the garden near the sheds. 

I potted on some Calendula and was so pleased to see both of the thrushes which might still be nesting in the brambles the other side of the wall - after the other evening when the cat and the magpies had been tormenting the thrush I’d thought they’d gone off to look for somewhere more peaceful …

A few more episodes of “Monarch of the Glen” which are fun but I had trouble keeping my eyes open :-(
