Life through the lens...

By ValC

Thank you.

A big thank to all of you for the kind comments stars and hearts for my 5000th Blip yesterday.
The photos weren’t that good, but it actually reached No.1. Don’t think I have ever been there before!
One of these days I hope to get on page one because of the excellent photo but that may not happen with my little Lumix camera, but you never know.

Another day when the weather thought it was April and not June.
We watched the final of the Ladies Tour of Britain race this morning. So sad to see local cyclist, Cat Ferguson, just miss out of the first place overall.
However she is only 19 and to come 2nd is a great achievement.

This afternoon MrC has enjoyed watching the cricket. Well done England. 196 scored by the West Indies was a high score to beat, but they did it, and won by 4 wickets.

I decided to go into the kitchen and made some rock buns. Haven’t made them for ages and one of MrCs favourites.
Through the window I saw the sparrows devouring the fat balls. Fortunately they stayed until I got the camera to take this photo. Will need to fill the feeders up tomorrow.

Hopefully the weather is warming up next week. Let’s hope so.
