Iris

It was a lovely morning and then a lovely day. I had stuff to print off first thing, and guess what the printers weren’t working. Typical!! Eventually one near my desk just woke up and spewed out my papers, totally randomly, and some considerable time after I sent them.

Once I had my papers together I had to walk down to the Parliament for a pre-meeting, ahead of a big meeting. I was relieved that both went well, though there were some random questions!! I took my time walking back up to the office. The rest of the day was fine, and with the pressure of the meeting over, I had time to chat with colleagues.

I had a nice walk in the sunshine at lunchtime, walking past Toppings. I was pulled in, but resisted temptation, and continued on my circuit.

I got home to find that BB’s new bank card had been delivered. I went for a quick walk after tea, but there were no hares to be seen this evening.

I came across an overgrown flowerbed at lunchtime, with lovely irises and alliums, this being one of the irises.
