Up a Tree!
We've spent a couple of hours either side of lunch in the drying ground today. Tony was finishing Albie's seedbed which is ready for planting now and I was shifting pulled out bracken roots to the compost heap and moving rocks to the rock pile. This afternoon Sophie was up there so I joined her in clearing the roots from the area we have set aside for the children to plant. The next work Sunday we plan on doing some rock painting and attempt to use the broken crockery in a mosaic.
I purchased a new bird feeder because we were going through seed at a fast rate and it looked like something had tipped the whole feeder over on to the ground. So here is Tony putting up the wildlife camera to catch the culprit. It's one of those feeders which closes up when large birds or squirrels land on it but I can't believe that the small birds are getting through the see so quickly. I suspect the Magenpies as they are pretty clever birds.
