I thought about going along to the World Pipe Band Championships today but the weather, especially this morning, put me off.

This is some of the boards around George Square which is closed at the moment for refurbishment. They go all the way round so you can't get access to the site for safety reasons. The work involves cleaning the Statues, replacing the unpopular red tarmac with grey epoxy resin, and installing some grass beds.
