Iris
Along the back road and near to the main road are a few yellow irises. Here are a couple. I have changed the Exposure Value (EV) to darked the background and then used Lightroom to highlight the blooms. A little bit of 'in-camera' and after editing creativity. At the very least the 'muddled' background is muted and you can really focus on the flower. If you're really lucky you will see another caterpillar, a creature I didn't see until I enlarged the flower. (It is vertical on a petal.)
I've often said people will help you and this was the case when first starting. I usually us an EV of between -0.3 and 0. Imagine how I felt when photos either were to light or dark. Enter a more experience photographer and now I understand.
Thanks for your comments on yesterday's 'pheasants.'
