Winter

A very chilly day today. We braved the cold and walked to the Sign of the Takahe for a coffee at lunch time. The road above was closed when we arrived but had reopened by the time we headed home as the snow had started to melt.
At home the house temperature was only 10 degrees and despite having heating on it didn't warm up much all day.
