Castle visit

S&C were leaving today but before they went they were happy to do something local so we went to the castle. We took the guided tour, which we had not done before. The guide was Victoria, someone we know from her friendship with other friends of ours. She was a brilliant guide. Her ability to recall the facts and dates relevant to the castle was incredible, and she had a relaxed informal style that kept the group interested.
Afterwards we came home and then waved goodbye to S&C with promises of more regular meet ups.
