Main activity: Fri - pickleball, packing, into DC
Notes: Slept decent and up a bit earlier. Michelle off to the office and I headed to Chalet Woods for pickleball, dropping the Father's Day cards at mailbox in front of Giant on the way. Hot and humid again, we only lasted about 2 hrs. Shower and cooked 1lb. ground beef and mixed in my cooked veggies from last night. Got back to packing and organizing then for the weekend in DC at the Washington Marriott @ Metro Center. After mostly getting packed, spent a couple hrs catching up on JC/Janine vids and watching silver go over $36/oz. Our Uber arrived and we headed into DC then 603p and arrived ~645p (plenty of traffic for awhile but since we were 3, we got to use the Express lanes). Got checked into our room and set up pretty quickly. We met Michelle's friend Baroni down at the bar then and he finished his drink and we walked to a rooftop (tho they said they were closing due to incoming rain, which didn't happen). We ended up at the restaurant inside the Conrad (which is in the Hilton line). I had a Heineken 0.0 and Michelle got a dry cider. Baroni ate an oyster trio and a side of potatoes. Was after 9p till we got back. Took quick showers and wound down for awhile - pretty tired.
