Red Hot Poker

Super-domestic day today - eggs from egg farm, veges from vege outlet, haircut, supermarket shop and one or two smaller bits too.  Feeling about ready to start to think about a holiday......

I have a small 'stand' of red hot pokers in the garden.  I never do anything to them and each year they provide a beautiful, colourful statement.  I felt they deserved recognition for their long-term, unassisted dedication to bringing colour to an otherwise dulling garden each year.
