Tousled but sooo Warm….

It was a cold night here despite heavy rain during the early hours. The minute I got out of my warm bed Marigold, damp from rain, took it over. Cats know where to find comfort. Marigold has some tiny war wounds on her nose. She regards herself as the guardian of my garden and will see off any trespassing cat.
I took Ruby for a walk early afternoon. She was off leash for a while until she decided freedom was the name of the game and would not come back when called. She went bounding up to other walkers and it took another woman and me some time to catch her. She is five months old today and I suspect is turning into a teenager already. So she will be on leash for now.
