Matilda and her five cygnets on my patch today.

She, and her mate Mick, recently walked the cygnets from a pond down in Ardler (where they hatched) all the way up the hill and along the road to the Reservoir (their previous home) to ensure they were safe from predation/disturbance.

Thanks to the members of the public who accompanied them to ensure their safety on the busy road.
