Woodchat Shrike #50

Took hubby to airport and did a few errands for Mum this morning whilst it was a bit rainy. 
My neighbour arrived back from Bempton Cliffs this afternoon and it wasn't 5 minutes before he was asking if I'd been to see the Woodchat Shrike that had been around locally for the past couple of days.  
This is a bird that I've never seen before so we set off at about 4.30pm and were not disappointed. It was showing beautifully and we were lucky that the rain stayed away as when we got home it looked as if we'd had a big downpour whilst we were out.  And just to add to the day, we stopped off at a pub for dinner on the way home, so I've not even had to cook today :)
