Gail Lawther

I have been a fan of Gail Lawther, a talented quilter with several published books, for many years- probably pushing 3 decades.

For some reason I looked up her website during the week and saw a banner/wall hanging she’d made. I was surprised to see it said it was from the Salvation Army in Keighley.

Tonight was band practice night, and yes , there it was on the wall, with another one also made by her.

Saddened when I got home to discover a friend had died suddenly and unexpectedly. I’m in total shock. So so sad.
