King Arthur’s Stone

Legend has it that King Arthur was walking along the top of the hills to the north and a stone lodged in his shoe. Stopping to remove it he flicked it sideways whereupon it flew over the Loughor Inlet and landed on the top of the Gower Hills by which time it weighed 25 tons…….Well? Why not?
After this. we went to Worms Head and walked to the Coastwatch lookout, bought a calendar and had lunch before taking a walk along the coast path for a mile or two.
