Rose Festival Watching

We won’t go downtown for the big parade on Saturday, but we did sit on a bench overlooking the Willamette to wait for the Coast Guard ships coming in, to add to the festivities. We waited as long as we could for the 300’ tall ship, the Eagle, but had to leave so Eric could get to his rehearsal, so missed it. He, however, did spot it as he drove there. Maybe I’ll get to see it when it heads for the Pacific early next week.
