Downtown by night

The iPhone is not renowned for its night shots. This is my best attempt (with some filters from pic stitch app). Downtown San Diego from harbour island whilst waiting for the wife at the airport.

So so day at work. The undergrads work that she is doing for me isn't working and it's a struggle to work out if its her or the machine. I've not been watching her like a hawk as have been busy with other things. The annoying thing is her doing this work is meant to free up more time for me to do real science. But instead it's taking twice as long as if I just did it and we now have a big backlog that I need to clear next week. Boss was out all day so sneaked off a little earlier.

Shaved babe this evening to ensure she is more comfortable in this hot summer weather. Think she appreciates it!
