Astrantia

I was so impressed when I first became aware of Astrantia, visiting gardens a few years ago. I’ve bought quite a few, mainly from the garden centre at Felley Priory. There the plants are very reasonably priced because they believe that plants grow best if they’re not kept on display too long. 

Last year they survived, but didn’t really flourish.  This year seems far more promising. 

This pink one was bought two years ago and is looking better than last year.
