Pompeii

Today we visited Pompeii, we booked a tour guide rather than wander around and not understanding what everything was. It was so interesting and so hard to believe all of this was under layers of ash. There are still some sites which they are working on as they have found more, such as a horse stables with horse remains and a carriage, we will have to wait until we come again to see that!

We got the train there and back and that was an experience the trains were so old and rickety. Luckily direct so it wasn’t too bad.

The afternoon was spent by the pool relaxing!
