Life Underground

I saw some interesting and intriguing miniature bronze sculptures in some of the New York metro stations.
It turns out they are part of the Tom Otterness's "Life Underground" installation emerging in the subway system as permanent public artwork. The artist said the subject of the work is "the impossibility of understanding life in New York".

I won't claim to understand it, but I certainly enjoy it.
