photograph of my sweet boy after surgery today. Some of you may wonder why I always post him in black and white and it was because one eye that was damaged and repaired as a youngster continued to deteriorate and looked like raw hamburger. Kind of brought new meaning to "red eye". Today we said good-bye to that eye that no longer served and after a lengthy day we are hoping for a good recovery. His scarred appearance hides a sweet, wonderful, completely non-aggressive dog.
