Daytona speedway

Today was fantastic. Macy's was having a sale. I got loads of shoes and a purse :-)

It got a bit cloudy so we jumped into the car and drove up to Daytona beach. We have never been there before and as we drove in we passed Daytona Speedway...... We had to go in. It is massive......
While we were sitting having something to eat, D disappeared, he came back and said right lets go, your going for 3 laps round the track....... Holy Crap..... We got taken under the track to the pit lanes where I got into a race suit and was waiting on the race car coming in, then a huge thunderstorm moved in and a call came on the radio to say there was rain at turn 2 ( about 1 and a half miles away). My race was cancelled but at least I still have it to look forward to :-)
