Monday meet up

Finally Flavia13 and I were able to meet up. 
It was so good to see her. 

Of course I'd brought Robbie and he did his usual trick of being adorable and cute. 
We walked through Abbey House grounds and then skirted round the Abbey ruins into the 'Amphitheatre' as it is called locally.
 It's the long since grassed over area where the sandstone was quarried to build the abbey. 

I did let Robbie off the lead at one point because I didn't see anybody but he did and zoomed off in their direction. Hmm need plenty of work on recall! 

We then made our way back to the AlFresco eating area  at Abbey House, which is actually under cover  and very pleasant. 
 It was quiet and there was a cool stone floor for Robbie to chill out. I was a bit apprehensive how hed behave but he was so good. I'd brought his ' packed lunch' so he was quite happy .  

It was great to have a good catch up and  we plan to meet up again soon.
