Architecture

Midday we met with a greek friend in 'The Centre' Taverna opposite the Greek Orthodox Church in Stavros 'town',  Ithaca (Ionian Islands, Greece) for a catch until 2.30pm. In the photo' it's just to the left of the dome on the corner.

Just down a steep hill from Stavros is Polis Bay and beach so we had a couple of hours there before heading back to our villa, nearby. This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge has the theme 'man made architecture' so I stopped to take an aerial photo' of the Greek Orthodox church that dominates the locality.  

Mrs BB and I are out for a cheap and cheerful meal in Stavros, tonight. As we haven't been far today it's only right the church is my blip!
