My first granny square

Yesterday I learned to crochet because I wanted to make some flowers to go onto the side of a hat I was knitting for my great niece. Today I got a bit carried away and following an online photo tutorial I made my first granny square...closely followed by my second. I'll have a blanket in no time!!!
