The Wee Handmade Gallery, Shawlands, Glasgow

A wee peek inside a new gift shop in Shawlands, located at 167 Deanston Drive. Most of the items on sale here are handmade within a 10 mile radius. Lovely artwork, crafts, cards, jewellery, bags, tablet and fudge that melt in the mouth, jams, cushions, bunting, wooden bowls and animals. Bought one of their popular denim bags.

Awoke to no hot water, and then let down by Scottish Gas when they didn't show to repair the boiler. However, on the positive side, I fitted in four loads of washing, a big food shop, a good catch up with a friend in The Glad Cafe (tea with very large fruit scone .... I deserved it), and this evening out with #2, finishing off an "Ultimate" burger at Ketchup.

And ... I've been shopping elsewhere too ......!
