Sally Mair - Loving life

White Peony

Today was the last of our interview days. After almost 5 hours on our child church though we have made a an appointment. The candidate has accepted too so now it's just a case of waiting for the references to come in. I see they've just changed the PVG rules too, so that will take longer than In the part to come through no doubt. Can't give any details yet until the home church has been informed and we inform our congregation. I'm very pleased though.
It's going to be almost a full year between Stephen leaving and our new person installed.
Other than that I did a couple of hours in the charity shop. I just happened to have to buy a very pretty Seasalt tunic, one of my favourite garments, winter and summer.
after my Tesco sandwich lunch, I wasn't very hungry this evening. We had a light dinner and then watched a second episode of Protection on STV player, we've enjoyed it so far.
There have been lots of blips of wild orchids in gardens, so here is ours. This is the fourth year it has flowered in one of my pots. I have no idea where it came from but I'm glad that it did come. The other flower is my wonderfully scented white peony which is always several weeks behind my traditional deep pink one.
