Kasberget / Kaasivuori

Blue sky is back. Kara and I did quite a long walk in the forest behind our house even before breakfast. The air was fresh and crisp (9°), the light beautiful and the noise of the birds almost overwhelming.

After a long breakfast with Finnish raspberries and Finnish strawberries, we went for a delightful circular walk not too far away. Our blip friend Outi recommended this as a not too well known gem of a trail and it did not disappoint at all. Thank you!

We had a delightful walk up to the top of the Kaasivuori, took a long break gazing at the 360° panorama of the archipelago and went back down on the other side. All off the leash fir Kara and not a single person met. Blissful.

Savoring the cold fish delicacies we bought yesterday in Turku for lunch. Lounging in the sun (sheltered from the wind) all afternoon. The plan is to have grilled salmon and salad as an early dinner before we heat up the sauna down at the beach again.
