This photo cost me several nettle stings and a bramble scratch!
I had to post some letters and as it was bright I decided to take the camera and go for a short walk up the hill nearby. There used to be a farm track but now it is very overgrown and if I go up again I'll need thick trousers and boots - not thin ones and sandals!
I did see some swallows low down, 2 buzzards, several little white moths, a small orangey brown patterned butterfly (that didn't stay long enough to get a good look) and some flowers as well as the pic so not a wasted journey.
The stings still tingle, though.
