Late sun on the valley
It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day and I enjoyed a visit from my friend W, who had not been welcomed into our home since autumn 2019 when we started shielding J from Covid. It was lovely to see her and to sit chatting on the patio with her, P and J while enjoying the excellent lunch P cooked. I made Tarta de Santiago, an almond cake flavoured with orange and lemon zest, from a recipe my sister-in-law shared. Somehow, in all this, I forgot to take photos of anything; this is the last of the evening light on the valley, just before the sun disappeared behind the hill.
This is tonight's second back-blip; I have a few more to catch up with.
