Curlew

Early walk and plenty of birdsong. Then off for walk along the river, through next village and up onto the moor. Could hear skylark but didn’t see them. Did so lots of Curlew, most trying to attract our attention as I think they had young ones and were leading us away.
Lovely weather, warm with a cool breeze, great for walking.
