Monday: New Plants
Dry and sunny day with a gentle breeze, no rain forecast so took a chance and did 2 loads of washing - backlog due to last week’s rain and gale force winds :-((
Everything dried by mid-afternoon.
Potted on my solitary Courgette “Striato d’Italia” but I have a few more which have just germinated. Also Tomatoes “Alicante” and “Gardener’s Delight, I have some “Tumbling Tom” which were sown later.
Planted Armeria maritima and Alchemilla mollis in the hope that they’ll spread and cover this corner of the garden which has primroses in spring and the Inula - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2470725147749781044 - will be in flower in a few weeks time.
Rested this afternoon having walked over 6,000 steps, finished reading this book - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3375594705856234410 story lines came together neatly and was very well written to build up tension, excitement and sheer horrors of the situation, highly recommended if you like this type of story :-))
It’s a very windy evening, we have heavy rain forecast which is fine by me!
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
